| This bamboo, which occasionally spontaneously develops from a P. vivax 'Aureocaulis', is yellow with a green sulcus. It grows faster though, and is a very beautiful bamboo if you want a high, wide species. In our garden almost 5 cm thick (measured between 2 nodes at around 160 cm from the base)! Edible shoots.
